Being a list of things which I’ve been meaning to write about here or elsewhere, but haven’t had a moment.
- New forms of storytelling
- The rise of the renaissance journalist
- Hotel life
- Why I don’t write much about work here
- Flickr video
- Personality blogs and the cult of the meme (pron: Me! Me!)
- On returning to Canada
- Agile development - the business/product owner’s perspective
- Being hobbled by technology
- Some new commandments for polite living
- Team operating agreements
Hopefully, by putting these out here in public I will be shamed into actually finishing one of these posts (currently on draft). Please feel entirely free to hassle me in the comments into actually completing one or any of these. It might just work.
In the meantime, here’s a picture of someone examining Doris Salcedo’s Shibboleth at the Tate Modern.
Sometimes we all feel like we’re in danger of falling into a hole in the ground.

Meg,
I NEED to know your new commandments for living! Come on you tardy thing, get them out here.
So do I. I’m being a lapsed good person.
+2 for Flickr Video, +1 for hobbled by technology. Also, I hadn’t realised that Tate Modern eventually got so annoyed with people falling into Doris’s crack that they fenced it off. Seems a shame really. Ah well, it’s gone now.
My votes go to hobbled by technology and Hotel life :)
New forms of storytelling pls
I want them all, but if I have to pick one, I would like to read the hotel life one, because I was vaguely thinking about something regarding the hotel life, but you will write it conciser. Yes it’s a word.
In no particular order: 1, 2, 3, 6, 10.
Mm. I want them all too. (I am greedy.) If I *had* to pick some, I would go for these three:
Being hobbled by technology
Personality blogs and the cult of the meme (pron: Me! Me!)
The rise of the renaissance journalist
But really I want to read *all* of the things you listed above; I’ll take whatever’s on offer. :)
just wanted to say, i love your blog…can’t wait to read those posts!
also, that photo is brilliant - i love how her legs mirror the shape of the crack.
They do all sound good, but…my top 3 for your consideration:
1. Some new commandments for polite living
2. Personality blogs and the cult of the meme (pron: Me! Me!)
3. Team operating agreements
Bit of a shame they’ve felt the need to put up barriers alongside the crack, don’t you think?
Actually, I thought it was a wonderful social commentary: warning, art can be dangerous.
Renaissance journalist! Please.
+1 renaissance journalist, +1 Canada. plsprettypls.

Hobbled by technology? Did you get tripped over by all your power leads? I hate it when that happens…
