The lift in our new office building has an unintuitive button layout. The door close button (which people jab away at in order to get to their office (or the street) whole microseconds faster) is miles away from the door open button.
And just where you’d expect it to be, on the bottom left, is the alarm.
I can’t tell you how many times a hapless office drone has punched it by mistake. Gets me (nearly) every time.

Unintuitive is being kind. That’s awful!
Heh, I’m in Switzerland and was in an administrative building yesterday with an elevator by the same constructor. I had the exact same thought about how inconveniently located was the ‘close doors’ button relatively to the ‘open doors’ one as by the time I could locate it, the doors were just closing anyway.
