Everyone seems to think that the new Nintendo gaming console is pronounced “we” like, er, wee or “wheeeee!” or something.
Wrong.
I can exclusively reveal that each letter is pronounced, making the correct pronounciation, in fact, “Nintendo way-ay”
This is because the Chairman of the Nintendo Gaming division is a big Newcastle United fan and a huge fan of geordie culture all around. Honestly. He’s often seen doon the Bigg Market with a bottle of broon, or lunching at the Rupali Curry Capital with the locals.
