Returned and refreshed from a week of R&R spent halfway up the slopes of Ben Vrackie (related fact: did you know that a mountain which isn’t quite a Munro is called a Corbett? I really hope that’s a Ronnie reference, there…)

Glen CoePlenty of tiny lambs gambolling in the sunshine, lots of reading and fires, a goodly amount of 80/-, heaps of driving (have license, will travel) and so much spectacular scenery it was almost exhausting looking at it.

After a day winding through Rannoch and Glen Lyon, over the shoulder of Ben Lawers to Loch Tay, I almost wanted to shut my eyes, because there was simply far too much loveliness to handle. Perhaps Perthshire and Kinross council should strategically place mounted pictures of Muirhouse-style concrete tenement monstrosities, to allow the visitor some small respite from all that fabulous scenery?

More pics on Flickr when I get around to uploading them, but in the meantime, er, hello. Again.
