Grin
Some times when I’ve been really really happy in the last ten years (not the only times, just a few selected at random):
- Eating cinnamon buns and drinking hot coffee at the Pacific Centre Mall in Downtown Vancouver, 1991.
- Covered in mud and laughing, Peddar Bay, 1992.
- Closing time in Sopa de Ganso bar, Sevilla, 1995.
- Lying on my bed during siesta, trying to rest, listening to the sound of mosquitos and traffic and squawking radios, not wanting to be anywhere else, Bolivia, 1996.
- Drinking tea on the fire escape of my flat in Liverpool at 3am on Easter morning, 1997.
- Standing on the back of a boat on the Thames in uncomfortable shoes, December 1998.
- Walking across Putney bridge in last night’s clothes, 1999
- 2.30am, 4th floor of a building in Southwark, January 2001.
- Yesterday.
Frequency picks up as time goes by. This is a good thing.
